Training Group Team Leader (Taif)

Job Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

As part of the Typhoon Follow-on-Q project, there is a requirement for a Training Group Leader to assist the Training Manager in the effective day to day supervision of technical instructors and resources as well as conducting classroom instruction and instructor assessments to meet the needs of customers and Typhoon Training Centre objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that technical training is delivered in accordance with customer requirements
- Assists the Training Manager in the effective design, development, planning and delivery of technical training programmes
- Monitors the quality of technical training, assessments and courseware production through the processes of lesson observation and internal verification.
- Ensures the company Quality Policy and Quality procedures are effectively communicated, understood and complied with by technical training staff in accordance with ISO 9001:2008
- Implements the company SHE Policy and procedures and they are effectively communicated understood and complied with by the technical training staff
- Assists in ensuring that new members of technical training staff are properly and effectively inducted (e.g. company Operational Framework, Company Emergency Procedures) before they commence work
- Assists in the managing and supervision of technical training staff in performing their day to day duties
- Completes the PDR process for his assigned technical training staff

Planning / Organising:

The jobholder will be responsible for:

- Planning of the training programmes in conjunction with the Training Planner/Scheduler and the Training Support & Liaison Coordinator as defined and directed by the FoQ Training Manager
- Planning is both proactive, to ensure an effective schedule is in place and reactive, to respond to changing business requirements.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an Aerospace Science or Aero Engineering.
- Successful completion of a Typhoon Q couse relevant to their trade is desirable.
- Successfully completed a recognised Instructional Techniques course.
- Minimum of 5 years as a technical instructor with supervisory experience in an Aerospace Environment

Candidates must be from within an aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO)

You will be an ex-RSAF or RAF or BAE Systems aircraft technician.
